Why “Double Down”?

The name Double Down has a story of its own.

With a set of twins in the family, just about everything quickly became “doubles.” That little piece of family life eventually helped inspire the name Double Down Outfitters.

It fits who we are: family first, rooted in tradition, and always ready to go all in on the things we love.

More Than 30 Years of Taxidermy Experience

Taxidermy is at the heart of Double Down Outfitters. With more than 30 years of experience, we understand that a trophy is more than something to hang on the wall. It represents the hunt, the memory, the people you shared it with, and sometimes years of patience leading up to one unforgettable moment.

Our taxidermy work has earned recognition throughout the Southeast, including blue ribbons in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Southern Regional competitions, along with the McKenzie Award for Best Bird and an NWTF Award.

We take pride in giving every piece the care, attention to detail, and craftsmanship it deserves.
